This is a huge problem and I totally agree. 100%. There's a lot of depth to this. For example, there's a whole religion of Hegel behind the "Marx already knew that..." which is like Christians before Christ kind of stuff... In ecological discourse it gets particularly bad, which is why I wrote Humankind.
